Drs. Chung Lin and Edmund Liu are partners in the Clarksburg Dental Center, a family practice dedicated to providing gentle, state-of-the-art dentistry.
Their practice is committed to friendly, thoughtful attention to each patient. The doctors believe that caring communication yields two significant benefits:
a relaxed environment for the patient, and information that helps the doctor make the wisest choices for that patient. Because the doctors take time to listen,
they can also educate their patients, helping them to maintain oral health and prevent future problems.
Fellow graduates of the University of Maryland Dental School, Drs. Lin and Liu worked separately for several
years in Olney and Kensington. They joined forces and skills in 2006 to open the Clarksburg Dental Center.
Theirs is not merely a professional arrangement, however, because they are cousins and also best friends.
Many people are surprised to learn this practice is tri-lingual. Though born in Taiwan, Dr. Lin was educated
in Argentina until he completed high school. He is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Liu, born in Hong Kong, came to
the U.S. as a teenager. Both speak Cantonese, Mandarin, as well as English.
With over 10 years of combined clinical experience, Dr. Lin and Dr. Liu continue to learn about the
ever-evolving dental field by attending dental conferences and continuing education seminars each year.
Those seminars were organized by some of the most highly respected educators in the industry, including
Restorative Dentistry seminars by Ron Jackson DDS and Endodontic seminars by Kit Weathers DDS.
In his free time, Dr. Lin loves spending time with his wife, Amy, and his son, Kyle. They love traveling
and sharing quality time with their family and friends around the world.
Dr. Liu and his wife, Shuk-Kei enjoy dining out and exploring different types of ethnic foods. Dr. Liu also loves playing sports, soccer being his favorite followed by volleyball and basketball.
